Kind of a weird race. I have been really tired from all of the miles this week. The race started out and I had a lot trouble finding my pace with a 6:24 and 6:30 1st 2 mile splits. After 2 miles I started to get going and ran 6:12 and 6:00 the next 2 miles. Then with a few downhills on the way back I just found a new gear and went 5:44 and 5:37 the last 2 miles to run a 37:56 (6:07 pace) on a rolling course. So I guess I am very happy but it didn’t start out that way. Just another example that you have to have patience when you are racing. TRUST YOUR FITNESS

Good grief, that’s some fast pace for someone who is tired! Okay, when I grow up can you be my coach?
